Once Great, again our Britain stands betrayed –
first by her people, then her Government.
By scheming liars honest folk were swayed;
by bungling ministers Parliament was rent.

No longer Great, her fate yet to decide –
as partner or as satellite the choice.
Wise governance no longer as our guide,
her people must at last become our voice.
